Dakota is a painter and printmaker from Chattanooga. He graduated from Georgia State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in German Literature. Since then, he has worked as an English teacher in Shenzhen, China. The time he spent internationally became kindling for different themes in his art practice. His artwork explores themes of the cultural and political inadequacies of American culture as well as doomsday cults, absurdist linguistics and modern folklore.
