Studio Rental

Our two studios are located in the heart of downtown Decatur on the Square, and in the spirit of expanding and encouraging community, are offered at very affordable rates: $70/hr for special events, $35/hr for recurring rentals, and $10/hr for rehearsals $10/hr Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. The space is ideal for rehearsals, dance and yoga classes, workshops and small conferences, networking events, photoshoots, etc. For more information contact studio@coredance.org 

Directions: Our back entrance is accessible by way of North McDonough Street, at the intersection of Trinity Avenue and the Decatur Square. Look for the entrance between Waffle House and DeWoskin Law Firm. 

Both studios feature these amenities:

  • MARTA Accessible: Exit at the Decatur Station

  • Large floor space; 30x50 downstairs and 30x60 upstairs

  • Stereo/sound system and projector

  • Mirrored walls with curtains

  • Folding chairs

  • Lounge area immediately outside of the studios

  • Kitchen facility with refrigerator, sink, and dishwasher

  • Access to downtown Decatur restaurants and shops

  • Small parking lot - up to 7 spaces for renters for an hourly fee

Here are the differences between the Downstairs and Upstairs Studios:
Upstairs-

  • Marley floor

  • Not ADA accessible

  • Post-Free

Downstairs-

  • Refinished wood floor

  • ADA accessible

  • Three posts in the middle of the room

  • Entrance available to Decatur Square


In order to book the space you must watch the studio tour on video, sign the appropriate contract, and make a refundable deposit via PayPal.

Parking: The Core Dance Parking lot is a public, paid lot. If you are visiting the Core Dance Studios, there are instructions in the studio for a stipend toward that payment. A portion of your Parking Fee is donated to Core Dance. Core Dance does not have any control over the lot or parking fee enforcement.
