There is currently 1 Internship position available for Spring 2021.
The Production Intern works under the supervision of the Production Manager during the spring season of productions. Interns generally work 10-15 hours per week, primarily at the Core Dance office and studios, and may include time offsite and at performance venues.
Responsibilities/Learning opportunities include:
Helping to maintain season calendars, production schedules, equipment lists, deadlines, and contracts for venues/personnel
Creating event manifests for each event that detail all aspects of production
Working hands-on with production equipment, which may involve: taking inventory, performing maintenance, packing up / loading in, and basic operation
Working alongside the Production Manager during events to aid execution from start to finish
Learning tools for project management and organizational efficiency
Internships are not compensated financially; however, an intern may complete their internship for academic credit, or may participate in Core Dance classes and utilize studio space in exchange for internship hours. Please specify which of the two options you are interested in pursuing in your application.
This is a seasonal, part-time internship, dates are negotiable.
