Site-Specific

Works by Sue Schroeder

Site-specific work within Core Dance grows from a deep responsiveness to place, where choreography emerges through dialogue with environment, history, and community presence. These projects are shaped by careful observation and embodied inquiry, allowing movement to reflect the character, rhythm, and stories held within each setting. Audiences are invited to experience familiar spaces in new ways, often discovering moments of connection, reflection, and shared curiosity through the encounter. Together, these works reflect Core Dance’s commitment to activating space through art, fostering meaningful engagement, and creating opportunities for connection between people, place, and creative expression.
