Global Water Dances
Global Water Dances (GWD) uses the art of dance to illuminate water issues on a global scale. Their work incites collaboration to address water issues through the universal language of dance, and encourages participants to take direct action aiding in the fight. Core Dance last participated in Global Water Dances in 2021 on the Big Island of Hawaii.

National Water Dance
National Water Dance is an artist-driven collective of dancers and educators confronting critical water issues facing the United States. Stretching from New York to Hawaii and from Alaska to Puerto Rico, simultaneous, site-specific dance performances are created and performed with movers of all ages and experience.

Planetary Dance
Core Dance in recognition of Anna & Daria Halprin and the Tamalpa Institute offer Planetary Dance to our communities. Planetary Dance is an annual dance of healing and community renewal. It brings people of all ages and abilities together in a beautiful setting to dance for a purpose.

walk
walk contemplates the changing nature of the individual within our briskly changing world. Under the artistic direction of Sue Schroeder, this performance work, created, in tandem with the community in and around an existing labyrinth or one built by/for the community. a brief moment of alignment
a brief moment of alignment is a new multidisciplinary work commissioned by the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at the University of Central Arkansas. Created by artist and choreographer Sue Schroeder, the work features a multi-generational cast and a film installation with original sound score by Berlin-based artist Christian Meyer.

Life Interrupted
Life Interrupted, which was previously titled Gaman, is a richly-layered, full-length work of contemporary dance, art, and music that draws from the experiences of U.S. citizens of Japanese descent who were interned on American soil during World War II. While rooted in this specific story, the work ultimately creates a universal experience from historical events.
